The Jesperson Bin Washer can be integrated into existing production lines
Our bin washer is a simple effective cleaning machine. Fruit bins-apple or cherry, wood or plastic are conveyed into the bin washer. They are cleaned inside and outside by a high pressure spray system.
Small Footprint
Our bin washer is approximately 8 feet square by 10 feet tall. It can be retrofitted into existing productions facilities. We make it in two configurations for stationary and portable use. It is about 3500 lbs. total dry weight.
Production Rate
Multi controls programs allow variable cleaning rates from 2 bins per minute to one per 5 minutes or whatever is desired.
Water Filtration
Bin washer water is stored under the conveyor. During the work cycle all water used is in motion. After cleaning a bin all wash water goes thru a self cleaning primary screen. From these it moves via a long flow path to the pump suction for re pressurizing. Before return to the spray nozzles it is again filtered. The water tank is accessible for cleaning from above and thru large clean outs on the sides.
Power Requirements
The bin washer is actuated by pneumatics, 5 CFM, and electric power, 28 HP.
Portable Bin Washer
For pre harvest bin cleaning we offer a portable trailer system. It consists of the washer itself, infeed-outfeed conveyor, and a power source. The power source could be a diesel generator or a power extension cord to a source. A small air compressor would also be on the trailer package. With this portable bin washer it is easy to move about a multi acre bin storage lot.
Construction
The Bin Washer is made of epoxy coated steel. A stainless steel version is also available.
