CTC supplied products used to screen inlet water from the Tualatin in Oregon to Lake Oswego. Commissioned by the Lake Oswego Homeowners Association, the goal of the project was to make screens for the inlet waters Fisheries compliant.

FJO Consulting engineers and Northwest Environmental Services designed the project. The project utilized self cleaning intake screens and was considered a complete success.

Another CTC project was to filter intake process water from the Mackenzie River in Oregon for Weyerhaeuser. This project was done in conjunction with CH2MHILL engineering.
CTC provided self cleaning pump suction screens for the sole purpose of keeping fish and undesirable debris out of the process water for Weyerhaeuser’s integrated wood products division.

The City of CleElum Washington completed an expansion of their water intake system to serve a major resort.  Huibregtse Louman Associates Inc, a Yakima engineering firm did the design work using CTC stainless steel self cleaning intake screens.

In India, a project in the Andaman Islands involved pre screening water for an electrical generating facility. Custom Technology’s self cleaning pump suction screen provided an excellent solution for diesel engine cooling.
