Clean your screen without disassembling the whole filter
Gives full circle sweeping action on the inner screen surface.
Allows loosened debris to be flushed out the blowoff port.
How it Works
Shut off water flow before cleaning.
Fully open blowoff valve. (Note: The blowoff valve must not be reduced in size from the fitting on the filter. It also must be a gate or ball valve; glove or butterfly valves will not work).
Push the brush in through the blowoff while rotating it in a clockwise direction.
While continuing to rotate the brush, move it back and forth along the entire length of the handle.
Continue the brush rotation while you remove it.
Turn the pump on again and leave the blowoff valve open. Let the water flow through the blowoff until all the loose debris is washed out.
