CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY CO., INCS. filter screens have been assembled using a thin coat of silicone release pasteĀ around the flared out metal ring at the open end of the screen. This paste helps insure that the sealing gasket will not stick to the screen when removed for cleaning. If the gasket has stuck to the screen or has been misaligned, when removing the screen for cleaning, it needs to be carefully put back in place. Then after cleaning the screen and before re-assembling, apply the paste. Do this by wiping the flared out metal ring clean and dry.
